SEO check: the professional SEO audit for your website

An SEO audit shows you in black and white why your website isn’t ranking as well as it could – and what you can concretely do about it. You get a complete analysis of technology, content, structure, page speed and indexing, plus a prioritized action list that you, your developer or your agency can work with immediately.

What you’ll hold in your hands after the audit

02

Understandable recommendations

An explanation in plain language for every finding, understandable without prior SEO knowledge.

03

Concrete work instructions

Your developer or agency can start right away, no follow-up questions needed.

04

Clear responsibility

Free SEO check or paid audit?

The term is often used for both. An automated free check finds measurable symptoms – useful for a first impression. What no tool can do: judge whether content matches search intent, detect cannibalization, decide which finding is actually relevant for your business.

“If a free check is enough for you because your website is small and the problems are obvious, I’ll tell you so in the initial consultation – and I won’t sell you an audit.”

— Viktor Pásztor, freelance SEO consultant

If you don’t want to implement the findings yourself, I’ll take that over as part of ongoing SEO support. The technical foundations behind it are explained under Technical SEO and On-Page Optimization.

Concrete numbers, not “on request”.

from €1,200 per audit
Hourly rate for partial audits €90–110 · free initial consultation · SEO costs · About me

After the initial consultation you get a fixed-price offer – no open-ended hourly billing.

  • Size of the website: An online shop with thousands of product pages needs more audit time than a company website with twenty pages.
  • System: I know WordPress, Shopify, Shopware and TYPO3 from daily practice – each brings its own pitfalls.
  • Scope: A purely technical audit is done faster than the complete check including content and structure.

Signs that an audit is due

Rankings stagnate despite content

You publish regularly, but the rankings don’t move or are even falling.

Traffic drop after a relaunch

Since the new website, traffic has collapsed, and nobody knows exactly why.

Many pages, few visitors

The website has grown, but only a handful of pages actually bring visitors.

Unclear agency reports

Your current agency delivers reports you can’t make sense of – numbers without context.

FAQ on the SEO check

How long does an SEO audit take?

That depends on the size of your website. I’ll commit to a concrete delivery date in the initial consultation so you can plan.

Do I have to book ongoing support after the audit?

No. The audit is a self-contained service – you can implement all actions yourself or with your team. If you want support, I offer ongoing support from €1,000 per month, cancellable monthly.

Does the audit also work for online shops?

Yes. A large share of my projects are e-commerce and B2B websites. I know Shopify, Shopware, WordPress and TYPO3 from practice – including filter pages, duplicate content and category structure.

Can I implement the actions without prior knowledge?

Many yes, some no. You can often handle content items yourself; for technical interventions you’ll usually need a developer. The audit clearly marks what requires prior knowledge.

Do you guarantee better rankings?

No – and be skeptical of anyone who does. Google decides rankings, not me. What I do guarantee: a thorough, evidence-backed analysis and recommendations I stand behind.
